Case: Organization of a live multi-camera broadcast of the launch of Russia’s most powerful coal loading line at the port of Taman, within the framework of the “TransRussia 2021” exhibition.

Client: Group of Companies “OTEKO.”

Objective:

Amid constantly changing weather conditions, organize a stable, high-quality, multi-camera online broadcast of the launch of the new coal loading line and Russia’s largest stacker-reclaimer. Ensure two-way communication in the form of a telebridge with the exhibition pavilion of “TransRussia 2021” in Moscow. In addition to multi-camera filming at the Taman port, coordinate a camera crew in Moscow. Provide a backup transmission channel and a stable high-speed internet connection.

Solution:

  • During the expedition, three main filming points were identified for capturing the port facilities at Taman.

  • Power supply and cabling were routed to the filming points, cameras were installed and tested, and communication was established with Moscow colleagues responsible for the broadcast from the “TransRussia 2021” pavilion.

  • A briefing and rehearsal of the broadcast were conducted with all key participants.

  • The live telebridge was executed at the scheduled time. The command to launch the coal loading line and stacker-reclaimer was given by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Marat Khusnullin. The opening ceremony was also attended by Presidential Aide Igor Levitin, Governor of Krasnodar Krai Veniamin Kondratyev, and OTEKO founder Michel Litvak.
