Case: Online broadcast of the oncology patient forum “Women’s Health” in Novorossiysk. The goal of the forum was to raise patient awareness about modern programs for the diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasms.

Client: ANO “My Life.”

Task:

  • Provide a live single-camera broadcast on YouTube from two halls of the large medical forum for viewing by specialists and patients from other regions of Russia and abroad.

  • Ensure two-way communication, allowing Zoom participants to ask questions to both the speakers and the specialists present in the hall.

  • Configure simultaneous output of the speaker’s content on the large hall screen and streaming of multi-format content online with a picture-in-picture window of the speaker.

  • Conduct professional photography of the event for publication on information channels.

  • Record six hours of broadcast from both halls, perform editing, and deliver the final 1080p version to the client.

Solution:

  • Conducted a site survey of the halls and identified the most advantageous camera positions.

  • Configured and tested the broadcast equipment, internet channels, and software.

  • Ensured two-way communication and simultaneous streaming of speaker content to two channels.

  • Developed a scheme for outputting speaker content from multiple sources and designed audio routing.

  • Installed cameras, connected and tested the microphone system, and set up additional equipment for uninterrupted six-hour Full HD video recording.

  • Executed the online broadcast of the forum from both halls, performed editing and sound mixing, and ensured that questions received via Zoom were answered by the speakers. A total of twelve hours of conference video was delivered to the client. Additionally, the client received a professional photo report of the event.
