Case: Sound Design, Mixing, and Mastering of the 2.0 Version of the Documentary Film “The Man Who Built a Fleet,” Dedicated to the History of the Fishing Company "Murmanseld-2."

Client: Documentary Film Studio "Rek.A," Murmansk.
Objective:
From the rough audio montage of the full-length documentary film “The Man Who Built a Fleet,” compile, voice, process, and mix a universal distribution version for integration of the master file into the video file assembled at Studio "Rek.A."
Solution:
Converted the AAF project and synchronized it with the rough cut of the documentary film. All audio tracks were leveled to uniform volume standards. Key narrative phrases were cleaned of extraneous noise and spatially repositioned for clarity and impact.
Added sound effects (SFX), both original and sourced, to enhance viewer immersion and convey the atmosphere of the scenes.
Applied dynamic and spatial processing to voices and ambient sounds, adjusting according to the scene’s environment and the director’s guidance.
Performed complete mixing and mastering of the 2.0 version in accordance with professional technical standards, ensuring compatibility with multiple viewing platforms.
