Task:

Based on the technical specifications of the interstate joint-stock corporation “Vympel,” develop and implement a project for an interactive system of movable touch screens.

Develop and integrate a system for synchronizing the screens with a displayed 2D map of the Russian Federation and the satellite monitoring systems located on it.

Develop hardware and software solutions for the project logic.

Using computer graphics and infographic elements, enable real-time viewing of the flight trajectories of individual satellites along with their technical data.

Graphically depict satellites and their flight trajectories to allow animation during screen movement.
Solution:

Based on the technical specifications of the interstate joint-stock corporation “Vympel,” OM Studio specialists developed and assembled from scratch an interactive system of movable touch screens.

The screens were synchronized with a lightbox substrate displaying a 2D map of the Russian Federation and the satellite monitoring systems positioned on it.

Hardware and software solutions for the project logic were developed.

When a movable screen approaches the map markers, they become active, and upon touch, real-time data about the associated satellites is displayed. Users can view a 3D model of the satellite, its flight trajectory, and key technical data.

The complete presentation assembly was implemented and tested on the corporation’s exhibition stand and presented to the wide audience at the “Army-2022” forum.

The interactive 3D presentation based on movable touch screens made a strong impression and received extensive positive feedback from guests and forum participants.
